Wat Ratchabophit

Wat Ratchabopit is an old temple under the care of the monarchy dated back since the King Rama V era. Withstanding the time for almost 150 years, Watratchabophit still hold its beauty and serenity with its Thai and Europe architecture and the outstanding beauty of coated porcelain tile which were used all around the temple.

Wat Phra Kaew is the most important temple of Bangkok. Try and get here early to avoid the crowds and the heat of the day. A strict dress code applies to all (Long pants or knee length skirts, cover shoulders shirt, no sandals or flip (If you are in improperly dressed, there is a booth near the entrance that can provide clothes to cover you up properly (a deposit is required). Guides can be hired at ticket counter inside, ignore offers from anyone. Audio guide is also available.
Wat Pho
(10 min walk / Everyday 8.30 am-6.30pm)
Wat Pho is mainly famous for the largest Reclining Buddha and to be known as Thailand's first university. There also well known for a very special and truly traditional Thai massage center inside the complex. Many foreigners and Thais come to study this traditional style of Thai massage here. You may want to give it a try and get a massage here.
